Introduction
The DWI Court program is designed to help clients who have alcohol addictions by bridging the gap between the criminal justice system and the therapeutic community. The goal of the DWI Court program is to ensure that our clients:
- Remain integrated in substance abuse treatment and aftercare
- Remain drug and alcohol free
- Contact the community supervision officer and/or treatment provider when the temptation to use alcohol occurs
- Receive immediate intervention when indicators of relapse are evident
- Successfully complete the program
